Come and watch
There is no spectator ticket for Hebocon Sarawak, and there will not be one. Turn up on the day, walk in, and watch.
What it is like
Short matches, one after another, with commentary from MC Daniel Ding. Robots fall over. Wheels come off. A machine that has done nothing for fifty seconds occasionally wins by accident and the room loses its mind. Between matches you can look at the entries up close — most of them are made of things you own.
It is loud, it is fine for children, and no part of it requires you to understand robotics.
Getting there
The venue is Makeramai Makerspace, inside Plaza Merdeka in Kuching. It is a shopping centre, so parking, food and toilets are all sorted before you arrive.
Times
Saturday, 21 November 2026, 10.00 AM – 6.30 PM. That is the whole event — one day. The detailed running order will be published here once it is set.
Collecting your Hebokit
If you have registered a robot, collect your Hebokit a week earlier: Saturday 14 November 2026, 10.00 AM – 5.00 PM, at the same place. There is a one-hour build session at 2.00 PM, so bring the kit and leave with something that moves.
